Minister of Internal Affairs, along with the head of the Georgian Government- Giorgi Gakgaria visited Public Safety Management Center 112 and unified Hot Line Center of the Government of Georgia – 144 and got familiarized with recent activities. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs, 112 and 144 Centers operate properly and lines are not overloaded.
“We have no fear in connection with the amount of work, in case of overloading, we have additional spaces arranged already. All the pre-caution measures and recommendations have been taken into account. Thermal screening is being held at the spot and special protective solutions provided. However, in case if this place turns out to be a breakout zone, additional work space has already been prepared, where staff will be relocated and centers will continue to operate from the new work space. We are not expecting any obstacles with regard to work overload or failing to handle the situation”- stated Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri.
