Minister of Internal Affairs in accordance with the order of the Prime Minister is heading the crises management staff in Dariali Gorge. He got familiarized with operations held in the landslide zone and planned preventive measures.
Under the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs several watch towers were established in the Dariali Gorge. From the highest point of the gorge border guards are monitoring the zone of disaster and will inform on any danger to the police officers, stationed in the watch towers by means of radio connection.
Various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs coordinated search and rescue operations as well as cleanup operations with heavy machinery are being held in round-the-clock regime
