The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Vladimer Bortsvadze, introduced the newly appointed chiefs of Guria and Samtskhe-Javakheti Police Departments to the staff. Vladimer Bortsvadze wished Levan Kharabadze and Guram Zesashvili further success and productive work in the new positions.
Guria Police Department will be headed by Police Colonel Levan Kharabadze. Prior to his appointment, Levan Kharabadze was the Director of the Samtskhe-Javakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As for the Samtskhe-Javakheti Police Department, it will be headed by Police Colonel Guram Zesashvili. Up to date, Guram Zesashvili has been working as the Deputy Director of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department.
With the purpose of staff and structural optimization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, staff changes in police departments are implemented periodically. Due to the specifics of operational activities, the changes are aimed at increasing the efficiency of police activities, ensuring the maximum safe environment for the country and its citizens.
