Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Archil Talakvadze and Director of Patrol Police Department Goga Razmadze within the frames of the EU project “Pedestrians Safety Advocacy” of “Georgia Alliance for Safe Roads” attended the research presentation on pedestrians and drivers behavior at “Holyday Inn” hotel.
The conference was aimed at providing interested parties with relevant information on reasons why pedestrians and drivers violate traffic rules on the daily basis. Within the frames of the conference representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs discussed preventive measures for the elimination of the violations and ways to improve traffic safety.
Event was also attended by Vice Major of Tbilisi Irakli Lekvinadze, representatives of the Economy and Sustainable Development, Education and Science, Regional Development and Infrastructure Ministries, non-governmental sector and representatives of United States, Netherlands and Estonia Embassies in Georgia as well as other interested parties.
