The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Nino Tsatsiashvili attended the meeting aimed at monitoring the implementation of the Law of Georgia on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities held by the Committee on Human Rights and Civil Integration of the Parliament of Georgia.
The Deputy Minister stemming from the Law of Georgian on the “Rights of Persons with Disabilities” spoke about the activities and future plans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs aimed at the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities.
Nino Tsatsiashvili expressed full readiness to plan and implement relevant future activities in the Ministry for law enforcement, in cooperation with the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee of the Parliament of Georgia.
The Law of Georgia on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities entered into force on January 1, 2021 and provides for the basic principles and mechanisms for persons with disabilities for full participation in all spheres of life without discrimination.
