Representatives of Human Rights Protection, Migration, and Central Criminal Police Departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia held informative meeting with beneficiaries of the Asylum Seekers Reception Center on trafficking issues.
Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs discussed legislation in force in Georgia in the direction of human trafficking, as well as practices, approaches and state services for the protection of victims. Attention was also focused on the importance of detection, applying to agency, and prevention of similar crimes by the representatives of the Ministry.
Fight against human trafficking is one of the priority directions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, therefore, it is important for the agency to raise public awareness on the fight against organized crime and to ensure agency is being applied to.
