The official visit of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri to the Kingdom of Spain has been completed. During the visit, Vakhtang Gomelauri met with the Minister of the Interior of the Kingdom of Spain - Fernando Grande-Marleska Gomez and the Director General of the Civil Guard of the Kingdom of Spain - Maria Gamez Gamez.
The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in law enforcement sphere and set the perspectives of future collaboration.
Vakhtang Gomelauri, awarded representatives of the Civil Guard of the Kingdom of Spain with Certificates of Appreciation for outstanding contribution to the development of existing cooperation.
The meetings were also attended by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia - Shalva Bedoidze. During the same visit, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs held meeting with the deputy Director General of the National Police of the Kingdom of Spain - Jose Angel Gonzalez Jimenez.
