Police attaches assigned to European countries from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia were awarded for their successful activities.
Police attache of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Colonel Giorgi Gamsakhurdia, was awarded with a gold medal by the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Poland, Mariusz Kaminski for his extraordinary merits to the Polish police. Gamsakhurdia was given the mentioned award by the Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Police, General Jaroslaw Szymczyk. The awarding ceremony was held in the building of the Chief Police Command.
Georgian police attache, Shalva Shubladze was also awarded with the "Red Cross" medal. No foreign police attache has ever been awarded the mentioned type and high-ranking medal in Spain until now. The order was given in consideration of the existing successful international police cooperation.
