Officers of the Patrol Police Department have undergone special training course at MIA Academy in connection with the snow season. Training was attended by 74 ski patrols from all regions of the country. The training included amendments made in Administrative Code of Offences and Law on Traffic Movement. According to the amendments movement of the snowmobiles and similar transport on the ski tracks is forbidden in the ski resorts of the country.
This year, in all ski resorts of the country public order and safety of the vacationers will be ensured by the ski patrol long with the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Implementation of the ski patrol of the pilot project was initiated in 2016 by the Minister of Internal Affairs Girgi Mgebrishvili.
Patrol police officers with special uniform and equipment will ensure maximal security of the vacationers and make prevention of the various accidents on the ski tracks.
