The officers of Tbilisi Main Division of Patrol Police Department detained Tamaz P. (DoB 1991) for armed robbery.
Patrol Police crew received notification from 112 on the fact of armed robbery on Saburtalo, Vazisubani Street. Patrol inspectors who arrived at the place were told by the driver that a young man assaulted him and demanded cash under the pressure of the knife. He was forced to give the offender 15 GEL after which criminal fled from the place of crime. He was detained by patrol officers several minutes later on Kandelaki Street. The weapon of crime was seized by police as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery, article 179 of the Criminal Code.
