With the support of European Union and UN Development Program, on February 20-21 Workshop is held for the purpose of elaborating State Border Management Strategy. According to the Government Decree №49 of January 14, 2014, specially established Interagency Council chaired by the State Security and Crisis Management Council under the Prime-Minister of Georgia, was tasked to draft State Border Management Strategy and present to the Government of Georgia for adoption before March 1, 2014. Representatives of the agencies involved in the border management and members of the Interagency Council are participating in the workshop.
