Within the framework of the information-cognitive campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - "Befriend the Police", meetings in schools of the regions continue. After Zugdidi, the representatives of the Ministry held informative meetings with pupils in 4 different schools of Kutaisi, Imereti region: N1 Akaki Tsereteli Public School, N2 Ioseb Otkheli Public School as well as N30 and N32 public schools.
The employees of the patrol police, criminal police, Public Safety Command Center "112", Emergency Situations Management Service and Human Rights Protection and Quality Investigation Monitoring Department provided the teenagers with information on relevant topics related to law and order. Employees of different units of the Ministry spoke about children's rights and their protection mechanisms, about early marriage, its harm and preventive measures, as well as bullying, organized crime and various forms of violence.
The representatives of the Emergency Situations Management Service explained to the teenagers the rules of behavior in emergency situations, and the employees of the Public Safety Command Center "112" explained to them in which case they should call 112 and how to cooperate with the operator.
The representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented videos during the meetings depicting the activities of various structural units of MIA. The meetings were held in Q&A format. The law enforcement officers provided answers to all questions raised at the meeting.
The campaign - "Befriend the police" continues. Public informational and cognitive events and meetings with schools pupils will be held in several regions across the country.
