On February 9 of the current year employees of Public Relations Service of “112” visited public school N2 of Mtskheta and public school N11 of Rustavi. Pupils of 7th and 8th grades attended presentations and received comprehensive information on work specifics of the agency.
Pupils learned when to use emergency umber, which services are available at “112” service and what are the sanctions provided by the law in case of making false notification.
Pupils along with “112” representatives performed thematic tasks and received answers to all topical issues. By the end of the meeting pupils were handed out memorable gifts from “112” representatives.
The mentioned activity was held in connection with international day dedicated to the emergency number “112”.
February 11 was announced as international day of “112” in 2009. It has been three years since the emergency number 112 started operation and agency holds various events in connection with international day of “112” each year.
