The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-investigative activities, solved the case of armed robbery of the gas station located in Ingiri village, Zugdidi municipality. Two persons were detained for the armed robbery committed in group and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm. The detainees are: Kh.S. )DoB 1997) and M.B. (DoB 1998).
Committed crime envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that on October 23, in the village of Ingiri, detainees assaulted gas station operator and appropriated cash under the threats of physical liquidation.
As a result of intensive operative-investigative and search activities, assailants were detained in Tbilisi, shortly after the crime took place.
Investigation is in progress on the facts of armed robbery committed in group and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm, Article 179, II part, sub-paragraph “B” and Article 236, III and IV parts of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
