The employees of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions, arrested a foreign citizen - H.M. (DoB 187) in Tbilisi on the charge of premeditated murder of two persons committed under aggravating circumstances.
The committed crime envisions from 16 to 20 years or life imprisonment.
The investigation established that on December 19 of the current year, detainee, on the basis of a financial dispute, using a cold steel and a blunt object, inflicted fatal injuries to spouses - D.B. (DoB 1986) and a foreign citizen Ch.K. (DoB 1981).
In order to conceal the traces of crime, H.M. buried victims’ bodies near the scene of the accident and fled from the place of crime.
Law enforcement officers, as a result of operative search and investigative actions, soon established the identity of the person who committed the crime and arrested him in Tbilisi.
The investigation is being conducted under Article 109, subparagraph “K” of the criminal Code of Georgia, which refers to premeditated murder of two persons committed under aggravating circumstances.
