The officers of Imereti-Racha Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search ad investigative activities detained J.K. (DoB 2002) for premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances against family member.
Committed crime envisages from 13 to 17 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that under-aged person murdered his father- G.K. (DoB 1969) with a shotgun in his own house located in Tchala village, Sachkhere municipality. Due to the received injury the victim died at the place of crime. In order to conceal the traced of crime, J.K. hid the body of the basement of the warehouse. It was also established that during the domestic conflict, father and son were alone in the house.
As a result of operative-investigative activities law enforcers managed to detain the offender in his own house. The weapon of murder was seized by police as evidence.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances against the family member, article 109, II part, sub-paragraph “F” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
