The officers of Kutaisi police division under Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities, detained Z.A. (DoB 1979), D.B. (DoB 1969) and V.Ch. (DoB 1977) in Kutaisi for stealing in group with previous consent.
Committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that on November 5, detainees stole “Oppa” company-owned machines for money transfer and hid on the territory located near the house of one of the detainees. On the second day after the crime, the mentioned persons were detained by the law enforcers while attempting to extract cash from the machine by damaging the cash container. Police seized the machine as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of stealing in group with a previous consent, article 177, II part, sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
