The officers of Kutaisi Police Division of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained 2 persons as a result of operative-investigative activities.
D.G. (DoB1988), was charged with attempted premeditated murder, while previously convicted M.G. is accused of concealing especially grave crime.
The committed crime envisages from 6 to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that on June 4 of the current year D.G. along with his companions chased after his acquaintance D.B. (DoB 1992) with a vehicle on Youth Avenue, Kutaisi. D.G. wounded D.B. with a firearm for the conflict which took place between the parties in the past and fled from the crime scene.
The injured man was taken to hospital where he underwent urgent surgery. His health condition is critical at the moment.
The law enforcers, as a result of operative-investigative and search activities, detained D.G. - in Tbilisi on the second day after the incident, while M.C. was arrested in Ozurgeti.
Investigations is in progress on the fact of the attempted murder and concealing especially grave crime, article 19-108 and article 375, III part envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
