14 drug dealers have been arrested in Kvemo Kartli, Imereti and various districts of the capital, including the Fonichala settlement, on the charge of selling drugs.

The crimes are punishable by up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
As for A.I., a citizen of a foreign country, born in 1998, A.I., born in 1987, as well as persons convicted in the past: E.E., born in 1973, G.Z., born in 1973, NB, born in 1966, and T.K., born in 1984, are charged with possession of a large and particularly large amount of drugs, as well as , in the illegal purchase and storage of psychotropic substance, in the attempt of illegal sale of drugs by a group with prior agreement, illegal importation of large amounts of drugs into Georgia, illegal sowing-growing-cultivation of plants containing drugs, driving under the influence of narcotic substances, illegal acquisition and storage of firearms and ammunition.
The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a number of secret investigative actions based on the judge's ruling, which established that the accused drug dealers were systematically selling drugs.
Police, based on the judge's ruling, made several controlled purchases of various types of drugs from persons arrested for illegal possession of drugs and secretly recorded audio and video of said purchases.
Law enforcement officers in Tbilisi, Adjara, Guria, Imereti, Kvemo Kartli and Shida Kartli, during the search of personal and residential houses of the accused, seized a particularly large amount of drugs.
The employees of the Central Criminal Police Department, Imereti Police and Tbilisi Police Departments, during the search of the private and residential houses of the arrested drug dealers, seized as evidence a particularly large amount of various types of drugs packed for sale and, presumably, the money obtained from the sale of drugs.
The employees of Didube-Chugureti Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department seized "Alpha PVP" drugs placed for sale at 25 locations by M.Ch. and M.M.
As a result of the search of the personal and car of a foreign citizen - I.E., the employees of the main department of Gldani-Nadzaladevi seized as evidence: a particularly large amount of "cocaine", "methamphetamine", "thebaine", as well as psychotropic substances and other types of drugs.
Adjara police, within the framework of covert operational measures conducted on the basis of the judge's ruling, carried out a controlled delivery of the parcel sent to Georgia, after which E.E. He was arrested as an accused. The police seized 560 "Subutex" pills as evidence.
As for G.Zh, who was arrested for drug crime in Adjara, as a result of the search of his personal and residential apartment, the police seized a large amount of "heroin" as evidence. A plant containing drug "cannabis", dried marijuana, 2 revolvers and cartridges were also seized.
The employees of Guria and Adjara police departments seized from N.B, who was convicted in the past and was arrested while driving a car, as evidence: 6 packs of narcotic drugs containing heroin - the so-called Sirets, 5 pills "Suboxin", so-called 3 vials full of syrup and 3 small electric scales.
The employees of the Shida Kartli Police Department, as a result of the search conducted in the house, yard and auxiliary warehouses of T.K, who was convicted for a drug crime in the past, seized 43 kilograms of hemp, as well as 813 grams of dried "marijuana" as evidence.
The investigation of the facts of drug crimes is being conducted under articles 260, 261, 19-260, 262, 265, 276, 236 and 273 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs actively continues the uncompromising fight against the spread of drugs and drug crime in the country.
