The officers of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained previously convicted A.M. (DoB1990), as a result of operative-investigative activities for premeditated murder.
The committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person, who was under the influence of alcohol, stabbed his neighbor R.G. (DoB 1998) in the city of Marneuli, using a cold weapon and fled from the place of crime. Due to the sustained traumas the victim died at the place of crime.
Police arrested the accused person shortly after the incident.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
