The officers of Old Tbilisi Police Division of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained A.Z. (DoB 1981) for ntentional infliction of grave injury to two or more persons and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm.
The committed crime envisages from 9 to 13 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that on December 11, detainee made multiple shots and thus, inflicted injuries in leg area to D.A. (DoB 1991) and G.A. (DoB 1967). After the incident the detainee fled from the place of crime.
A.Z. was detained by law enforcers several hours later after the crime as a result of immediate activates. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress under the article 117, VII part, sub-paragraph “A” and article 236, III and IV parts, which stands for intentional infliction of grave injury to two or more persons and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm.
