The officers of Samtredia police division along with Imereti, Racha-lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of jointly held operative-search and investigative activities, detained B.G. (DoB 1990) for premeditated murder.
Committed crime envisaged from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that on December 26, 2020 detainee inflicted lethal injury with a shotgun to his neighbor – K.N. (DoB 1967) in his own yard on the basis of the conflict which existed in the past between the confronting parties and fled from the place of crime. The incident took place in Karmaghala village, Samtredia municipality. The wounded person died as soon as he was transferred to the hospital.
As a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities law enforcers detained B.G. several hours after the crime in his own house.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
