The officers of the Gori Police Division of Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained previously convicted D.A. (DoB 1972), as a result of operative and investigative activities. The mentioned person was taken under arrest for inflicting severe health damage on purpose.
The committed crime envisages from 3 to 6 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person, during the confrontation in the entrance of one of the residential buildings located in Gori, wounded his acquaintance- V.K., (DoB 1958) with a cold steel in spine area. The wounded man was tranferred to the clinic where he underwent relevant medical procedures.
Police seized the weapon of crime - a knife as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of inflicting severe health damage on purpose, Article 117 envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
