The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-investigative activities detained foreign citizen –E.A. (DoB 1982) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities in Gardabani municipality.
The committed crime envisages from 8 to 20 years of imprisonment.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 220 pills of buprenorphine containing drug- “Subutex” as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
