As a result of operative-investigative activities and based on the Court order, the employees of MIA Tbilisi Police Department have detained one person, G.J. born in 1997, for an act of violence against two individuals.
An investigation found that on 19 December 2018 in the Bar “Success”, G.J. who was under the influence of alcohol committed physical violence on the ground of sexual orientation against two employees of the abovementioned bar, D.J. born in 1993 and P.S. born in 1996.
An investigation on the fact of sexual orientation-based violence against two or more persons is conducted under the subparagraph “c” of the first Prima paragraph of Article 126 of Criminal Code of Georgia.
