The international evaluation organization of global democracy "Diversity of Democracy" published the index of freedom of peaceful assembly. According to the research, Georgia earned 3.5 points on a 4-point evaluation system and was ranked 50th in the world.
After 2012, by improving the assessment, Georgia is in the top ten in the world, and in the first place in Europe. In 2012, Georgia was among the top three most dangerous countries in Europe, along with Russia and Belarus, and ranked 99th in the world, and in the following 11-year period, Georgia advanced by 49 places in the world ranking.
According to the assigned index, Georgia is ahead of such countries as: the United States of America, Great Britain, Switzerland, Latvia, Romania, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, South Korea, Singapore, Turkey, etc.
According to the Index of Freedom of Peaceful Assembly, Georgia received historically the highest ratings in the index published this year and previous year.
