The annual "Women in Policing" conference, organized by the U.S. State Department's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), has concluded.
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, the U.S. Ambassador to Georgia - Robin Dunnigan and the Director of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Bureau Office in Georgia - Sarah Rupert delivered the opening remarks.
At the end of the conference, all participants were given a certificate, while the Deputy U.S. Ambassador to Georgia - Alan Purcell awarded several female police officers for their successful work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The conference was attended by 90 representatives from different departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The event aimed at strengthening the capabilities of female law enforcement officers and increasing their motivation.
