Representatives of the International Relations Department, Reforms and Development Agency, Emergency Management Agency, Operative Response Center “112” and the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia held a meeting with the representatives of interagency delegation of the Republic of Columbia.
The delegation of the Republic of Columbia was represented by six different agencies: the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications, Revenue and Customs Service, Administrative Department of Civil Registry, Security and Emergency Affairs Agency (123), Agency of Notary and Registration Services and the Public Registry. Columbian delegation wanted to familiarize with the recent structural reforms by which the successful practice was established in the fields of electronic governance, reduction of bureaucracy and development of public services.
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia provided information about the implemented reforms to the representatives of Columbian delegation. Moreover, Columbian Delegates got acquainted with the activities of the Emergency Management Agency, Operative Response Center “112” and the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
In the framework of the visit, Columbian delegation also held meetings with the representatives of other government agencies, such as: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Finance.
