From March 1, 2014 driver’s licenses will be issued with validity dates, in particular: owners of driver’s licenses with A B BE T S A1 categories and sub-categories will be issued with validity date that will be 15 years;
Expiration date of driver’s licenses with C CE D DE C1 C1E D1 and D1E categories and sub-categories will be 5 years.
Expiration date will also concerns to those driver’s licenses, issued before march 1, 2014, in particular:
Driver’s licenses issued between April 1, 2006 and March 1, 2014, categories – A B BE T S A1 and B1 categories and sub-categories will be valid till September 1, 2028.
Driver’s licenses (C CE D DE C1 C1E D1 and D1E categories and sub-categories) issued from April 1, 2006 till March 2014will be valit till September 1, 2018.
Driver’s licenses issued till April 1, 2006 will be valid till January 1, 2018.
After the date of expiration, new driver’s licenses will be received by the drivers without any exams after submitting certificate of health (Form IV-100/a).
Changing driver’s license in not obligatory till the date of expiration in valid. In case of willing to receive or change the driver’s license the price will remain the same.
From March 1, 2014 individuals will have to submit certificate of health (Form IV-100/a) at MIA Service Agency in case of willing to receive new driver’s license after losing and in order to be eligible to passing exams for receiving the license.
