The employees of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions detained T.M., (DoB 1961) for coercing a minor to perform sexual acts of other nature.
The committed crime envisions from 9 to 15 years of imprisonment.
During the investigation, it was established that T.M. a minibus driver of one of the schools in Vani municipality, had a sexual conversation with a minor girl during the ride and touched her against her will.
As a result of the investigative actions, based on the judge's decision, the law enforcement officers arrested the person who committed the crime.
The investigation into the fact of coercing a minor to commit sexual with prior knowledge is being investigated under Article 139, Part IV, Sub-paragraph "B" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
