Mr. Giorgi Gakharia, the Vice Prime Minister of Georgia and Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia held a meeting with Mr. Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia.
At the meeting, the parties discussed security challenges in the region and agreed on deepening the bilateral cooperation in this regard.
During the discussion with Mr. Toivo Klaar Mr. Giorgi Gakharia emphasized the security challenges outlined in the occupied territories as well as the situation existing across the occupied line.
The Minister of Internal Affairs underlined the illegal restriction of free movement by the occupying forces in the occupied territories, which in its turn threatens security and stability on site.
