Rescuers of Emergency Management Department of MIA are conducted rescuer operation at the moment at the Dariali Gorge. For the moment rescuers managed to save 12 Turkish citizens from the tunnel and one citizen was withdrawn from truck who was damaged during landslide. Citizens are in good health condition while one of them is transported to the Kazbegi hospital. Rescue operation is being held for saving the driver of the second truck.
The Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze and high-rank officials of Ministry arrived to the Dariali Gorge and got familiarized with situation. Units of Emergency Management Department of MIA continue the rescue operation.
