US Department of Justice positively assessed activities held by the Georgian law enforcers as well as unprecedented cooperation between the relevant agencies of Georgia and the United States, resulting in the capture of members of the organized cybercrime network, using malware program known as “GozNym”. Illegal activities of the group members have caused victims from different countries of the world a damage worth of hundreds of millions of dollars.

United States Attorney Scott Brady has expressed his opinion regarding the successful operation held by the Georgian law enforcers in which he stated- "In announcing the prosecution of the GozNym international cybercrime syndicate with our law enforcement partners at Europol in May, I stated that borderless cybercrime necessitates a borderless response. I want to congratulate and personally thank the Office of the Prosecutor General of Georgia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia for their dedication and hard work in securing these important convictions, and for their willingness to seek justice on behalf of GozNym victims in the United States and around the world."
