Ministry of Internal Affairs has expressed solidarity to the international campaign – “Earth Hour”. Within the frames of the campaign power will be switched off to the MIA building located on Noe Raamishvilii Street N38 from 20:30 to 21:30.
With this decision Ministry of Internal Affairs has jointed annual global campaign, in which more than 150 countries were involved.
International campaign “Earth Hour” is held in numerous countries annually by the end of March. Campaign is held to express solidarity to tack issues of the global warming and is one of the most important campaigns in the context of environment protection. Annually millions of people get involved in the campaign and refuse to use power for one hour, thus supporting safe future of the earth.
