The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia – Aleksandre Darakhvelidze participated in the concluding event of One –Year Trainings Program on Cybercrime and Digital Evidence, funded by the United States Embassy, Department of Justice.
The event was held at the General Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia and was attended by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Aleksadnre Darakhvelidze, Prosecutor General –Irakli Shotadze, the US Ambassador ad interim Alan Purcell and high officials form the Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Security Service and Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia.
Within the framework of one-year program, the employees of Central Criminal Police Department, Tbilisi Police Department and Forensic Criminalistics Departments of the MIA received both theoretical and practical knowledge of effective electronic / digital evidence investigations. Within the framework of above-mentioned program, participants received special equipment.
At the end of the event, the training participants were awarded with the certificates of Windows Digital Forensic Investigative Analysts.
