The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, held an introductory meeting with the Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission to Georgia, Sanja Celebic Lukovac.
The Deputy Minister stressed the importance of the Association Agreement between Georgia and the European Union, as well as the importance of the work of the International Organization for Migration in strengthening migration and integrated border management in Georgia.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the activities implemented within the framework of the existing cooperation and talked about the priority directions of future collaboration.
At the end of the meeting, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze thanked Sanja Celebic Lukovac and the International Organization for Migration for their contribution to developing the capacity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs over the years.
