The international research organization "Gallup" has published the annual global index of "law and order".
The "Gallup" survey was conducted in the period of August 8-October 31, 2022, and 1000 respondents were interviewed by the face-to-face interview method.
The index is based on a survey conducted in different countries, which assesses people's personal safety, sense of security and their level of trust in law enforcement agencies.
According to the results of the research, compared to the 2022 report, the index of Georgia has improved this year and amounts to 87 points.
According to the assigned index, Georgia is ahead of such countries as: France, Italy, Australia, Hungary, Belgium, Canada, Japan, Croatia and others. According to the same study, Georgia ranks next to countries such as Austria, the Netherlands and Hong Kong.
Herewith, the index of Georgia is only 1-2 points lower than the index of Germany, Sweden, Portugal, Estonia and Spain.
