The Minister of Internal Affairs hosted 17 years old Ketevan Mzhavanadze, the beneficiary of the “Monk Andrew’s Foundation” at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Mr. Giorgi Mgebrishvili personally familiarized the girl with his office and building of the Ministry. The Minister took Ketevan Mzgavanadze by his car to the Patrol Police Department, where she was presented with the uniforms of a patrol-inspector and symbolic souvenirs. After the visit to the Ministry, the girl had the opportunity to attend the police patrolling in the streets of Tbilisi for a few hours with patrol police crew.
The “Monk Andrew’s Foundation” provides assistance to children with cancer and their families. Within the frames of one of the projects of the Foundation, the beneficiaries shall meet with desirable ministers and symbolically hold their positions for one day. By means of the mentioned project the “Monk Andrew’s Foundation” cares for psycho-social rehabilitation, intellectual development and improvement of life quality.
