The Minister of Internal Affairs - Vakhtang Gomelauri, held a meeting with the heads of the units under Adjara Police Department in Batumi.
Vakhtang Gomelauri received information from Adjara police units on the police and preventive measures implemented this year in the direction of the fight against crime in the region.
The discussion at the meeting focused on the clearance rate of crimes that occurred in the Adjara region this year. It was noted that a decrease in the number of certain categories of crimes was observed, while the crime-solving rate increased.
At the working meeting, Vakhtang Gomelauri noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to improve both social and working conditions for police officers.
The minister gave specific instructions to the law enforcement officers participating in the meeting and thanked them for their work.
