Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri attended the meeting of the Coordination Headquarters in Guria Region, led by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
At the headquarters meeting, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and various agencies discussed in details of the work carried out to eliminate the problems caused by the heavy snowfall as well as the existing challenges and planned further measures.
Various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including firefighters, in coordination with representatives of relevant agencies, continue to work in an emergency mode in connection with the heavy snowfall in Western Georgia. All relevant special equipment has been mobilized on site.
