case of murder in temka settlement solved by MIA

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia solved murder case in Temka settlement. The officers of Gldani-Nadzaladevi Division and the officers of the Detectives Division of Tbilisi Police Department detained L.G. (DoB: 1997) for premeditated murder. The crime committed envisages imprisonment from 7 to 15 years in length.

The investigation established that on February 22, 2018, in Temka settlement, Tbilisi, the offender on the grounds of revenge inflicted wounds with a cold arm to his friend A.N. (DoB: 1997) and consequently fled from the crime scene. As a result of jointly held operative and investigative activities the law enforcers detained the offender in Tbilisi in several hours after the incident. The weapon of the crime – knife – was seized by the police as a material evidence.

The investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder under the Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
