The closing event of basic winter mountain training course was held at the Tsikhisjvari base of the Strategic Pipelines Protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Participants were handed over certificates and badges by the leadership of Sachkhere Mountain Training School named after Colonel Besik Kutateladze of the Department of Strategic Pipeline Protection.
The training course was held within the cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense.

The basic three-week winter training course for mountain training was held in Bakuriani.
The training participants learned the rules of using mountain equipment, arranging a shelter in the snow and operating in extremely cold conditions, moving with special tools for walking on snow, technical skiing, use of evacuation means, methods of searching for a person trapped in an avalanche, extraction and evacuation of the victim.
Aim of the training course is to improve mountain skills and raise qualifications of the employees of the Strategic Pipelines Protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
