The officers of Tbilisi Police Main Division and Isani-Samgori divisions jointly detained Aleksandre Ts. (DoB 1982) in Tbilisi for inflicting serious intentional damage to health, which caused death.
Investigation established that on May 14, detainee shot his ex-wife and her brother in Tbilisi on Gakhokidze Street and fled from the place of Crime. Detainee’s former spouse died shortly after she was transferred to the hospital. At this moment the condition of health of another victim is satisfactory.
As a result of immediate searching and investigative activities Alksandre Ts. was detained in few hours after the crime took place. The weapon of crime has also been seized by the law enforcers.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress under the article 117, II and VII parts of the Criminal Code.
