The meeting was held between the representatives of the British Embassy to Georgia and representatives of International Relations Department, LEPL Emergency Management Agency and Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
During the meeting issues of cooperation between the British Embassy and MIA, competences and duties of the MIA specific units in cases of emergency situations as well as the instruments for ensuring the safety of foreign citizens (British Nationals) during crisis situations were discussed.
The parties discussed the perspectives of enhancing further collaboration in this field.
