The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department and the Border Police participated in the regional training on fight against drug crime. The event was organized by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in the hotel "Courtyard Marriott”.
The main objective of the training was to intensify the fight against drug crime, analyze and review modern methods in this field and share experience of different states.
The instructors of the Training Academy of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) made presentations on the methods of operative-searching activities, investigation of international crime and prosecution of criminal cases, organizational issues, planning of operative measures and the principles of international law.
The training along with the law enforcers of Georgia was participated by the representatives of the relevant state agencies of the partner states such as Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania.
After completing the course, all participants were awarded the certificates.
