The Border policemen carried out operative-investigation measures and detained a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, Jangiz M. (DoB 1983), on the charge of illegal crossing of the state Border of Georgia in Sarpi. The investigation established that the detainee had crossed the State Border of Georgia illegally without official border control. The MIA Border Police Investigation-Operative Main Office is carrying out investigation on the above-mentioned fact according to the Criminal Code of Georgia, Article 344, Part I.
