All participants of the media-seminar organized by Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were handed out certificates. The seminar lasted for two days and was aimed at familiarizing seminar attendants with operation and methods of the Patrol Police as well as implemented novelties in order to raise the awareness of journalists in the mentioned fields. This type of seminar was held for the first time in Patrol Police.
The seminar consisted of theoretical and practical parts. Theoretical part was introduced to the journalists by the Deputy Head of Patrol Police Levan Matchavariani, who reviewed work style of the Patrol Police Department, its structure and methods.
At the seminar the issues related to the already implemented and scheduled novelties by the patrol police on the state border were discussed. Seminar participants were also acquainted with recently implemented novelties in the Patrol Police. At the seminar participants raised many interesting questions on which Levan Matchavariani provided comprehensive answers.
Patrol Police officers explained and provided journalists with comprehensive information on the technical means of the mentioned Department.
