Charity campaign initiated by the Minister of Internal Affairs was joined by Patrol Police Division of Ajara. Head of Ajara Main Division of Patrol Police Teimuraz Kupatadze along with his employees visited extremely poor families of Ajara as well as orphanages and nursing homes.
Patrol police officers handed TVs, personal computers, washing machines, vacuum cleaners and other household appliances, food products and sweets to extremely poor families residing in Batumi and Kobuleti. Patrol officers also visited naira Tsintsadze who owns orphanage-type house and takes care of 6 orphans. Patrol police handed TV, food products and New Year sweets to them.
Patrol police officers also visited orphanage in the village of Peria and handed TV and New Year sweets to the kids of orphanage. Residents of nursing house were also handed personal hygiene items, clothes and sweets.
Patrol Police Department plans to take part in the mentioned campaign in the future. Campaign is aimed at providing food supplies to extremely poor citizens living in mountainous regions of Georgia.
