The officers of Patrol Police Department of Achara Regional Main Division alongside employees of customs department under Revenue Service, as a result of jointly held operative-investigative activities, detained Mukhran A. (DoB 1963) for illegal purchase, keeping and illegal transit of psychotropic substance to Georgia in especially large quantities at Sarphi Border Checkpoint.
Law enforcers seized 560 pills of “Actiphed”, which according to expertise results contain 33,6 gr. of psychotropic substance Pseudoephedrine. The detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and illegal transit of psychotropic substance in especially large quantities to Georgia. (Article 261, part IV, subparagraph “A: and article 262, part III, subparagraph “A”).
