The officers of Samtskhe-Javakheti Regional Main Division as a result of operative-searching and preventive activities handed over firearms and armament from the citizens, in particular: 7682 bullets aimed for automatic weapon, 114 various hand grenades, 10 cut guns, 3 pistols and varaious armament.
Citizens handed over: 2 Kalashnikov type automatic weapon, 10 cut gun, 2 hunting rifle, 3 pistols, 4 handmade gun, 1 rifle, one handmade pistol, 2 grenade launchers, up to 3 kg of trotyle, 114 RGD and F-1 type hand grenades, 3 anti-tank missiles, 3 missiles, 7682 bullets aimed for various automatic weapons and etc.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part, of the Criminal Code.
